“Are you out of your fucking mind?” Jongin says as he throws Luhan up against the wall, “they will rip you arms and limbs off before you can even cry for mommy.”
“Jongin you don’t understand. I have to do this. I have to save her,” Luhan mutters.
“What’s so fucking great about her that you have to risk your life?” he presses his hands deeper into his collar. Luhan’s face turns slightly purple as he gasps for air.
“Sorry,” Jongin looses his grip and allows the boy to readjust his clothes.
“Have you ever loved someone where you’re willing to do whatever it takes to keep them by your side?” Jongin stays quiet. Yes, you.
“To the point where you can’t stand a minute being apart from them?” Yes, all the time when I’m with you.
“That’s how a feel about her. I love her, Jongin, I can’t just let them take the most important person in my life.”
Jongin remained still. The words that had come out of his best friend’s mouth pierced through his heart, leaving only pain to linger through his body. Everything he had said about her, Jongin had felt about him. It was already too late- hell! what was he thinking when he thought Luhan might actually reciprocate the feelings. In the end, he will always be just a best friend in Luhan’s eyes, nothing more.
